Dear Charly,
That`s comprehensible that the product with high gas content of approx 4 mg/L would cause filling results as concerned.
Following specification in terms of max gas content of the product is essential for aseptic filler (volumetric) version as present at Fuzhou and Changchun line (NM Spec):
- degassing: aseptic products have to be degassed and passed as state of the art to the filler in order to prevent foaming in the filling process and floating of pulp and fibres. Maximum O2 content must not exceed 0.5 mg/l, max. N2 content 1.9 mg/l, max. CO2 content 0.1 mg / l
The main problem is the high gas content of the product which have an affect on the flow meter after specific time (gas bubble as mentioned) as well as on the filling level, spill out etc.
As already stated by Andy, the only way to solve the problem is to degas the product properly.
As recommended by degassing unit, if required with aromatic recover function.
We want to support as best as possible, but for this case the filler cannot be modified to fill this product type without filling issues by requested speed.
To be updated, the retrofitting of the new bottle and product was done in autumn last year, only problems we had been requested were regarding the Rinser clamps and the issue with the air conveyor.
Question: would have that filling topic occurred from beginning of production or later, maybe after some changings of the product or whatever.
Btw, that`s right! actually every new product need product specialist to evaluate, not only quote the mechanical handling parts.
That`s the way we usually elaborate and quote for requested new products.
In current case the Haizhiyan product was confirmed as fruit juice, still product.
It`s unusual to get a confirmed high gas content for still products, because that`s result of processing technology.
In general, the product needs to be supplied according to the filler specifications.
Best regards,
Wolfgang
