ในนามของคณะครู และนักเรียนโรงเรียนบ้านคลองสิบแปด มีความยินดีและขอบพระคุณเป็นอย่างยิ่ง ที่ท่านได้ให้เกียรติมาเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงานสัปดาห์ภาษาอังกฤษ เนื่องในวันคริสต์มาส ของโรงเรียนบ้านคลองสิบแปด
วันคริสต์มาส 25 ธันวาคมของทุกปี เป็นวันสำคัญวันหนึ่ง คือวันฉลองวันประสูติของพระเยซู ผู้เป็นศาสดาสูงสุดของชาวคริสต์ทั่วโลก พระองค์เป็นพระเจ้า ที่จะอยู่กับเราตลอดไป เป็นความสำเร็จบริบูรณ์ตามคำสัญญาของพระเจ้า ที่จะปกป้องดูแลรักษาเรา ผู้เป็นประชากรของพระองค์ วันคริสต์มาสเป็นวันฉลองที่มีความสำคัญมาก และมีความหมายมากที่สุดวันหนึ่ง
โรงเรียนบ้านคลองสิบแปด จึงได้จัดฉลองวันคริสต์มาส เพื่อให้บุคลากรทุกฝ่ายได้ทราบถึงประวัติความเป็นมาของวันคริสต์มาส ร่วมฉลองในวันที่พระเยซูเจ้าลงมาเกิด และเปิดโอกาสให้ทุกคนได้มีความสัมพันธ์ที่ดี ประเพณีของการฉลองคริสต์มาสที่มีความเป็นมาดังกล่าวนี้ ควรเป็นสิ่งที่ชักจูงเราให้เปี่ยมไปด้วยความรักและพร้อมที่จะรับใช้ผู้อื่นอย่างเต็มที่
และในปีนี้ โรงเรียนบ้านคลองสิบแปด ได้จัดงานวันคริสต์มาสขึ้น ในวันพุธที่ 24 ธันวาคม 2557 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ ดังนี้
1. เพื่อให้นักเรียนได้ทราบถึงประวัติความเป็นมาของวันคริสต์มาส
2. เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้สนุกสนานรื่นเริง
3. เพื่อร่วมเฉลิมฉลองเนื่องในโอกาสพระเยซูเจ้ามาบังเกิด
4. เพื่อสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างครู และนักเรียน
ทั้งนี้ได้รับความร่วมมือจากคณะครู และนักเรียน โดยร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมต่างๆ ที่เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงาน ได้ร่วมเล่นกันอย่างมีความสุขและสนุกสนาน
