เจ้าอาวาสองค์ปัจจุบัน คือพระครูสถิตพัชรธรรม พ.ศ.2538 –ปัจจุบัน
วัดตาล เดิมมีชื่อว่า “วัดตาลสราญรมณ์” แต่คนทั่วไปมักเรียกกันสั้นๆ
