CTM là tương tự như bản đồ phiêu lưu ngoại trừ nó không theo một cốt truyện chặt chẽ. CTM is similar to a map adventure except that it does not follow a strict storyline. It's more of a world where you can freely wander and explore the map as you like in the Guide. It is not a quick win but a map that must be played over a longer period of time. Resources and items need to be collected and placed in the area you have been told by the signs and similar in the map.Exploration plays a large role in the CTM as many maps of the materials needed to complete the map is hidden deep in the caves and other places that require the courage to explore. In the past two years have Fallen Earth work by creating it. It was an incredible world of inspiration with a lot of exploration and discovery is made. Although the world is quite small (only 256 × 256 in size) it is a feast for the eyes as there are many unique details embedded in every inch of the map. The large amount of stuff to explore also makes the map feels bigger than what it really is.
