Date and kick off time

Player to watch:
Cub captain Teeratep Winothai is always the centre of attention. The former BEC Tero and Muang Thong United player has been capped fifty times by Thailand and is also well known for spending part of his youth career in England with Crystal Palace and Everton as well as 8 appearance for Belgian second division club Leirges in 2009
Coach
Coach Tak (Attaphol Buspakom) is one of the most successful coaches in Thai football. The quiet and highly respected 51 year old played 85 times for the national team as well as 274 appearance during 2 spells with Thai Port. Not only has he coached four of the biggest sides in Thailand (Buriram, Muang Thong United, BEC Tero and now Bangkok Glass) but he has a long list of managerial successes. In his early coaching career he lead BEC Tero to the finals of the Champions league in 2003 and consecutive seasons as runners up in the Thai premier league. He guided Muang thong United to the TPL crown in 2009, the following year as coach of Buriram he achieved a runners up spot and then in 2011 got them to the league summit. At Buriram he also won the FA and League cup twice before guiding Bangkok Glass to a runners up spot in the FA cup last season against his former club. Attaphol has been named Thai premier league coach of the season 3 times - in 2002, 2009 and 2013.
Previous coaches have a familiar ring to them. Not only do they include current Ayuthaya man Phil Stubbins, but also Chainat and former national man Surachai and new police United Head Coach Carlos Roberto
Last season
BG finished in 5th place, 1 point behind Suphanburi. They started the season disastrously with 3 losses and 2 draws which forced the early removal of Phil Stubbins, but the arrival of Attaphol immediately improved results and, but for 2 losses and a draw in their last five games, could well have claimed that fourth spot. BG scored and conceded exactly the same number of goals as Suphanburi last season, with 40 for and 31 against, so there seems very little to divide the two clubs
Head to head last season
Suphanburi won the home game 1:0 in Suphanburi with Dragon Boskovic scoring from the penalty spot after 51 minutes. At the Leo stadium on the artificial pitch the game finished scoreless
Club Honours
BG have yet to win the TPL crown despite the large investment put into the club, winning the Thai Super Cup in 2009, a competition that brought together the top four placed teams from the previous season. The competition was a flop and was scrapped after only 1 year. Being losing finalists at last seasons FA Cup remains their biggest achievement to date, but there is a stability and purpose about the club that suggests better things to come
