This study aims to identify and describe how Mading Role In <br>Improving Student Writing Skills Class III Narrative SDN Morkoneng 1 Kwanyar <br>Bangkalan in the academic year 2018-2019. This study used a qualitative approach to the <br>subject of study 4 informants consisting of teachers and students in grades 3 SDN Morkoneng 1 Kwanyar <br>Bangkalan. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. <br>The results showed that the role of Mading in improving writing skills <br>narration third grade students of SDN Morkoneng 1 Kwanyar Bangkalan 2018-2019 school year acts <br>as a reference to help students in mastering vocabulary to fabricate a story.<br>Nonetheless, there are still some constraints, namely: motivation, knowing the elements <br>which correspond to the type of narrative literature. <br>Keywords: Role Mading, narrative writing skills
