Nature reveals itself in two ways:
In history, the collective story of its revelation to humankind through the ages;
In “my story”, the “mystery” of my personal story,
Therefore, learn our story because in our story, we find meaning of our lives.
Learning my story is a recognition of “my-story”, the “mystery” of my life that opens the door to deepen the meaning and celebrating it.
Our story is connected with the story of nature. We must communicate the story of nature/cosmos

Own the Story
Accept the whole of it, total acceptance of the positive as well as the negative, the light as well as the shadows, the possibilities as well as the limitations.
Love it, let it take hold of one’s being, the good and the negative.
Trust it, claim it for one’s own – It is exciting to be me. I must learn my whole story. I cannot live another life – only mine. I am unique.
My Story is Your Story in Universe Story
Claim it for one’s own. I must accept the whole of it. Acceptance makes me love my whole self, to bring together, connect pieces. It may not be accepted. It maybe misinterpreted or changed by others – risky and humbling position.
Learning and owning the story is a life-long process.
Share the Story (Wholeness)
We must start sharing our stories – they’re all we really have
Take the risk involved in telling the story
Each of us is a piece of the whole story of the universe
We have an obligation to share our piece so the whole story can be known
Sharing the Story:
3.1. To listen to someone else’s story, we recognize in the other person a unique, mysterious expression how a life is. We learn to watch the wonders of the other person’s story as they unfold. Feel the warmth. Suspend judgment.
3.2. Listening to the story of another can give us courage to share our personal story.
3.3. To share my story I must become more transparent; Telling my story by living at the level of my inner self (truth) and working toward integrity by dealing openly with the conflicts of my life (my light and dark sides).
3.4. Sharing one’s story is simply letting one’s hidden self grow strong so that it can surface, making changes necessary to move one’s own life toward greater integrity.
Celebrate the Story
Birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions like “Tet”, ancestor memories, parties are proofs that we need to celebrate our stories as individuals and collectively
Celebration makes connections between our stories past – present – future.
I do not have to force a story on my life.
My story is your story in the universe story
We are our stories. By joining them, we begin to learn the whole story of the universe
It is risky struggle but it is the only way to move towards wholeness and truth

is the only reality I have,
the unique way to see the nature of life

As a facilitator of social transformation and change, storytelling can be a way of personal and social transformation and team building. To foster team building we:
Listen to inner world/wisdom within us.
Listen to inner world/wisdom in others.
Accept yourself – your strengths as well as your weaknesses/your brokenness.
Accept the strengths and weaknesses of others and blend/harmonize them.
Have HOPE in Life, in yourself, in others, and in the world.
Have FAITH in Life, in yourself, in others, and in the world.
Have LOVE in Life, in yourself, in others, and in the world.
