(1).สถานที่กำจัดขยะมูลฝอยเพื่อผลิตพลังงานของเทศบาลนครเชียงราย มีพื้นที่ 323 ไร่ ส่วนที่เป็นบ่อฝังกลบมีพื้นที่ 123 ไร่
(2) การจัดการขยะมูลฝอยถูกฝังกลบในหลุมฝังกลบแบบถูกหลักสุขาภิบาล ระบบฝังกลบเชิงวิศวกรรม (Engineered Landfill)
(3) มีการติดตั้งบ่อเฝ้าติดตามคุณภาพน้ำ (Monitoring Well) จำนวน 7 บ่อ
(4) ปลูกต้นไม้รอบหลุมฝังกลบขยะ เพื่อเป็นแนวกันชนในการระหว่างหลุมฝังกลบ กับพื้นที่โดยรอบเพื่อป้องกันฝุ่นและเสริมสร้างทัศนียภาพ
(5) โครงสร้างพื้นฐานโดยทั่วไปยังคงอยู่ในสภาพดี
