“I saw the milieu therapy,
is it like a conference? I felt that they did not understand discomfort, so
there was no recognition of unfair treatment. Upon asking patients
about any complaints or inconvenience, some of them raised their
hands and said, ‘Someone didn't clean up her hair while using the toilet,
so the toilet was very dirty. Because it was not sanitary, why did you
wash away the hair with the toilet water?’ When I saw that they knew
about their discomfort, I was ashamed of myself for having had a bias
about them. The program looked good” (Participant 10).
