ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เกิดขึ้นในชุมชนบ้านหนองคู โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ("X" ̅= 3.06) ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่มากที่สุด คือ ปัญหาขยะมูลฝอย ("X" ̅=3.55) รองลงมา คือ ปัญหามลพิษทางน้ำ ("X" ̅=3.00) ส่วนปัญหาที่ชาวบ้านเห็นว่าเป็นปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่น้อยที่สุด คือ ปัญหามลพิษทางอากาศ ("X" ̅=2.65)
