Furthermore, Lickona (Syarbini, 2013: PG. 13) puts forward definitions of character education as follows: Character education is an effort membentuk/mengukir the human personality through the process of knowing the good (knowing kindness), loving the good (loving kindness), and acting the good (good), the educational process that involves three domains: moral knowledge (knowing moral), feelings of moral (moral feeling/moral loving), and moral action (moral acting/moral doing), so that a noble deed can be etched into a habit of mind, heart, and hands.
