Hệ số khả năng thanh toán hiện thời của các DN giai đoạn 2010- 2014 đều lớn hơn 1. Điều này cho thấy khả năng thanh toán hiện thời của các DN khá khả quan. Mặc dù đa số các DN có hệ số thanh toán hiện thời khá tốt nhưng chỉ có nhóm ngành gồm nông – lâm – thuỷ sản, năng lượng, vận tải là có hệ số khả năng thanh toán nhanh lớn hơn 1. Nguyên nhân là do lượng hàng tồn kho của nhóm ngành này tương đối thấp, đặc biệt là ngành năng lượng, chênh lệch giữa khả năng thanh toán hiện thời và thanh toán nhanh chỉ là 0, 23 lần.
