สพฐจึงได้มอบให้สํานักทดสอบทางการศึกษาจัดสร้างข้อสอบเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อม(Pre O-NET)สําหรับการสอบระดับชาติO-NET ประจําปีการศึกษา 2554ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 และมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3ซึ่งจะสอบปลายเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2555 เพื่อให้สถานศึกษาเห็นความสําคัญของการนําผลการทดสอบไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการวางแผนพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษา
