Ở hoạt động kinh doanh ngoại hối và vàng , trong 4 tháng cuối năm 2010 , ACB ghi nhân khoản -128,9 tỷ đồng ; lũy kế cả năm chỉ đạt 191,1 tỷ đồng ,giảm mạnh so vơi mức 422,33 tỷ đồng của năm 2009. Tuy nhiên thu nhập lãi và các khoản thu nhập tương tự của ACB trong năm 2010 lại tăng mạnh trong năm 2010 , đạt 14.970,77 tỷ đồng so với 9.613,88 tỷ đồng năm 2009 . Kết quả kinh doanh hợp nhất năm 2010 , ACB đạt 3.105,6 tỷ đồng lợi nhuận trước thuế : lợi nhuận sau thuế là 2.339,01 tỷ đồng , tăng nhẹ 6,3 % so với năm 2009 và từ ngày 31/12/2010 vốn điều lệ của ACB là 9.376,96 tỷ đồng .
