FEMMES ET TRAVAIL : PLUTÔT EMPLOYÉES QUE DIRIGEANTES
En France, plus de la moitié des femmes exercent des métiers d’exécution : l’entretien (c’est le secteur qui
emploie le plus de femmes !), l’assistance maternelle, le secrétariat, la vente, l’administration (…). Elles sont
plus abonnées que les hommes aux emplois temporaires (…). Et travaillent cinq fois plus souvent qu’eux à
temps partiel. Côté salaire, il y a toujours une grande différence. Elles sont payées en moyenne 25 % de moins
que les hommes. Le nombre des femmes cadres a augmenté au fil des années. Elles représentent
désormais 30 % des effectifs cadres, contre à peine 15 % il y a 30 ans. Même si elles occupent plus fréquemment
des postes de chef d’équipe, elles restent très minoritaires dans les postes de direction : elles représentent
moins de 10 % des dirigeants d’entreprises et moins de 5 % des membres de conseil d’administration.
