subjek kajian adalah kesemua penghuni asrama di politeknik kuching mereka yang terdiri daripada pelajar semester satu hingga lima, Soal selidik yang digunakan mengandungi enam bahagian iaitu maklumat diri subjek, jenis-jenis tingkah laku vandalisme, faktor keluarga, sekolah, rakan sebaya dan konsep kendiri
untuk data analisi pula akan pengunakan teknik pemerhatian dan temubual secara terus pada pelajar politeknik untuk mengetahui apakah puncanya pelajar cenderung untuk melakukan gejala vandilisme diasrama.
