Do ngôn ngữ, điều kiện kinh tế, xã hội… người dân tộc thiểu số rất khó tiếp cận với các cách truyền thông như loa đài, tờ rơi, sách báo, internet.... vì vậy, tổ chức các buổi truyền thông tại cộng đồng hay đến từng hộ gia định tư vấn là một trong những cách phù hợp nhất để nâng cao được nhận thức của người dân về HIV/AIDS. Các buổi truyền thông về nâng cao nhận thức của người dân về phòng chống HIV/AIDS nên được triển khai mạnh mẽ và thường xuyên. Trong đó ưu tiên các nhóm đối tượng có nguy cơ cao như người tiêm chích ma túy, gái mại dâm,,, Nội dung truyền thông cần đơn giản , gần gũi nhưng lại có thể cung cấp cho người dân đây đủ thông tin về nguyên nhân, triệu chứng, cũng như cách phòng ngừa HIV/AIDS. Do trình độ dân trí của người dân còn thấp, cần có đội ngũ cộng tác viên nhiệt tình người sẽ hướng dẫn người dân trong việc giái đáp thắc mắc cũng như cách sử dụng bơm kim tiêm , bao cao su sẽ rất cần thiết. Bên cạnh đó, cần tạo điều kiện tốt nhất cho người dân khi đến với các buổi truyền thông như hỗ trợ họ về kinh phí đi lại, ăn uống, …để tăng cường sự tham gia của cộng đồng trong công tác phòng chống HIV/AIDS

Due to economic conditions, languages, social ... of ethnic minority people are very difficult to reach with traditional ways as radio speakers, pamphlets, books, the internet .... so, media function in the community or to individual households to consulting is one of the most appropriate way to enhance people's knowledge about HIV/AIDS. The media session about the awareness of the people about HIV/AIDS should be developed vigorously and often. In which the priority high risk groups such as intravenous drug users, prostitutes, media, content, need simple, close but could give people here enough information about causes, symptoms, and how to prevent HIV/AIDS. Due to the level of a population of people left low, need to have a team of enthusiastic collaborators who would guide people in work during the inquiries as well as how to use condoms, needles, pump will be needed. Besides, the need to create the best conditions for the people when they come to the media as they support about travel expenses, meals, ... to strengthen the participation of the community in the prevention of HIV/AIDS
