Pada suatu hari hiduplah seekor kelinci putih didalam sebuah hutan yang dipenuhi oleh rasa kasih sayang dan kekeluargaan yang erat sesama hewan namanya cici. Kelinci itu adalah kelinci yang baik, periang, dan ramah. Bulu putihnya juga membuatnya benar benar terlihat ceria. Di hutan ia hidup makmur dan memiliki tiga ekor sahabat kelinci yang bernama cili, cimi, ciki.
Di suatu pagi yang cerah, mereka bermain mengelilingi hutan ketika sedang asyik bermain salah satu diantara ketiganya yaitu cili melihat sesuatu yang tidak pernah ia lihat sebelumnya yaitu pertengkaran dua ekor burung yang ketika telah lama bertaruh salah satu dari kedua burung ini terluka prah dan akhirnya mati kemudian salah satu burungnya lagi tampak bingung lalu menggali tanah yang dalam kemudinnya menguburkan temannya yang terluka parah tadi. Cili yang asik memperhatikan kedua burung tersebut akhirnhya di sadari oleh cimi oleh karena itu cimi langsung saja memanggil cili kemudian keempatnya kembali bermain lagi.
Keesokan harinya mereka berempat kembali berkumpul bersama kemudia ketika hendak bermain cimi memperhatikan ada yang berbeda terhadap dua orang kawannya yaitu cici dan cili kemudiankeduanya tampak begitu aneh dan hal ini paling di tunjukkan oleh cili yang ketika di Tanya oleh cici dia hanya diam sambil menatap cici dengan tajam, cimi merasakan keanehan tersebut karena tidak biasanya hal itu terjadi kemudian sore pun datang kemudian mereka berempat bergegas pulang ke rumah mereka masing masing. Sontak saja cimi dan ciki kaget dan berusaha melerai keduanya namun tikaman cili dan ciki semakin keras. Yang anehnya cici dan cili selama ini tampaknya baik baik saja dan tidak pernah sama sekali tampak ada konflik diantara keduanya. Tikaman cili ke cici semakin keras namun cici nampaknya tidak memberikan umpan balik ke cili. Cili yang terlihat sangat berambisi membuat cici semakin melemah dan terluka cili mencakar mata cici yang akhirnya mata cici mengeluarkan darah dan juga cili mencekik leher cici. Cici yang terluka parah akhirnya mati karna tikaman akhir oleh cili yang penuh ambisi dan kebencian terhadap cici kemudian cili menggali lubang dan menguburkan cici. Semenjak hari itu tidak ada lagi yang ingin berteman dengan cili.
Akhirnya, cimi dan ciki mengerti bahwa alas an cili membunuh ciki yaitu telah lama cili merasa kebencian yang ada dalam hatinya ia merasa bahwa cici lebih dekat terhadap ciki dan cimi kemudian ketika telah tau bgaimana cara membalas kebencian yang dimilikinya ia pun langsung membunuh cici. Dan setelah ia membunuh temannya itu sendiri bukanlah kebaikan yang ia dapatkan melainkan tidak ada lagi hewan di hutan yang ingin berteman dengannya. Oleh karena itu cili pun merasa bersalah dan meminta maaf kepada semua hewan yang ada di hutan. Selesai
