We expect to a have a date from the Ankur staff on their availability to travel to Yantakao within a week. I will inform you as soon as I have their dates.
Furthermore, please note that the purpose of the physical inspection was to ensure availability of sufficient wood chip that would meet the required specification, and to confirm the readiness of the dryer to produce sufficient feed to replenish the chips that gasifiers consume. This was to avoid people traveling to Thailand and not able to complete tests due to the plant not being ready. I am told that the current team at Yantakao is well aware of the requirements and there is actually no need for this to be verified as they are able to inform us of their expected readiness date.
Khun Vitool, I know you have mentioned twice that the upcoming run is our last chance to show our contractual commitment. In this regard i would like to explain that it has always been and continues to be our intention to assist you in any way we can. Although the Gasifier Performance Tests were completed and approved in January 2013, we have done our very best to assist you on any matters that have come about since. The point I wish to highlight is that our contractual commitment which is primarily focused on the gasifier efficiency and producer gas output have been met and was approved at that time. The engine performance, including power output, has not been our scope. Having said this, we feel we can help improve the overall performance levels, including the power output. This is evidenced by our input and regular communication in the recent months.
It is perhaps easier for us to discuss these in person to ensure our efforts are put to positive use and in the best interest of the project. Whether it is decided to be our last chance, we will still do our best to help with the running of the engines. At the minimum, we can advise you on how best (in our opinion) the modifications to the gasifiers can be handled to provide best results. I hope you agree with me that this is in fact the first time we are given a chance to run the system, after the Gasifier Performance Tests in January 2013.
Rizal is in India until January 10th and among other things is also discussing the performance of the Yantakao plant and has taken all the information he has compiled in the recent months. I am hopeful this will result in additional input to improve the plant performance.
