Environmental problems, mainly in two respects: the first is the Population growth of the population is increasing; it is still in the exponential growth, “Human population is growing like never before. We are now adding one billion people to the planet every 12 years. That's about 220,000 per day. The list of problems this is causing, or at least complicating, is a long one. It includes shortages of all our resources, war and social conflict, limits on personal freedom, overcrowding and the health and survival of other species” (Howmany.org, 2015). When the population increased dramatically and resources would not be sufficient to support the causing shortages in some developing countries. When resources are limited but the population increased dramatically “as a result of this overpopulation we experience social issues such as increased rates of poverty, crime, disease, and environmental problems such as increased global warming, natural disasters, loss of habitat, pollution, and more. These threats are very necessary to be addressed, as they will affect people worldwide. It is important that we look at these problems since every human has the ability to prevent future damages and adjust their lifestyles to decelerate this increase in population” (Sitemaker.umich.edu, 2015).And another problem is the economic growth and technological progress. Most developed economies currently consume resources much faster than they can regenerate. “Most developing countries with rapid population growth face the urgent need to improve living standards” (Actionbioscience.org, 2000). Economic prosperity makes high standard of living as well. Resources are consumed beyond the basic necessities of life. It is necessary to use more energy as well. Meanwhile, advances in technology, it helps improve the process easier and more resources.
