Kegiatan teroris sangat berbahaya bagi masyarakat, tidak hanya dari segi materi dan non-materi, tetapi juga korban dari para teroris akan trauma, selain itu teroris juga merugikan negara dan membawa nama buruk kepada orang-orang dari agama Islam. Karena ajaran agama Islam tidak pernah mengajarkan kekerasan di dalam beragama. Ajaran yang berbeda dari yang sebenarnya membawa perpecahan di antara umat Islam dengan satu sama lain.
