Schon seit Jahren ist zu beobachten, dass der Trend eindeutig zum Singlehaushalt geht. Immer mehr Menschen leben alleine und brauchen passende Wohnungen. Stellt sich also die Frage, inwieweit die Immobilienbranche von dieser Entwicklung betroffen ist.
Die Anzahl der Singlehaushalte steigt seit 1971 kontinuierlich an, wie in der Grafik von Immobilienscout24.at zu sehen ist. Während der Anstieg zwischen 1971 und 1991 eher moderat war, ist seitdem ein starker Anstieg zu beobachten. Insgesamt ist die Zahl der Singlehaushalte von zirka 700.000 auf ungefähr 1.4 Millionen gestiegen und hat sich damit verdoppelt.
