The inter-relationships between Hospitality and Tourism seem to go hand in hand. The hospitality industry provides services like accommodation, transportation, food and beverage, recreation and leisure. Tourism is the activity for the tourists to engage in travelling to destinations they want to experience recreational and leisure activities, and most of the time avails of accommodation, food and beverage. The hospitality industry is the supplier of the services for tourism. The meaning of hospitality is providing a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons. It also means responsibly serving liquor, to ensure that patrons do not become intoxicated and subsequently a problem for management, staff and the neighborhood. On the other hand, some sub sectors of the tourism industry have higher profiles than others. Thus, it is important to be fully aware that most tourism arrangements may cover more than one sector of the industry. For that reason, the interrelationships between sectors are highly developed. Trade unions play a key role in these sectors as long as the unions may organize a particular section of skilled workers or a cross-section of workers from various trades or attempt to arrange all them within a particular industry.
