В нашем современном мире, насыщенном суетой, спешкой, информацией, кризисами, есть свои герои. О них не рассказывают по телевизору, им не вешают медали на грудь. Это – простые люди, которые живут по совести. Таких героев довольно много среди нас: оглянись и ты обязательно увидишь чьи-то умные глаза, услышишь доброе слово. Каждый день нас ждут какие-то дела, все мы куда-то торопимся, спешим, ничего не замечая вокруг, а ведь иногда стоит смотреть по сторонам. Порой упадёшь на гололёде, кто-то поможет подняться, так сказать, «протянет руку помощи» - вот он, герой, спасибо! А кто-то пройдёт мимо – ведь у него и своих забот полно… Как ты относишься к окружающим, так и они будут относиться к тебе. Но настоящий герой не будет ждать похвалу, он пойдет дальше, освещая все вокруг своей улыбкой, навстречу трудностям и победам. Победам, скорее, над самим собой: над своей ленью, что порой накатывает, как волна, и уносит на диван, к телевизору; над своим эгоизмом, который время от времени заставляет думать только о себе, не обращая внимания на потребности других. Да, все это свойственно и герою нашего времени, вся разница в том, что он умеет преодолевать свои слабости и идти дальше к своей цели. Я считаю, что герой нашего времени – это тот человек, который трудится на благо общества, то есть любит свою работу и отдаётся ей полностью, он всё время к чему-то стремится: живет, видя перед собой цель. Пусть наш герой не директор, не начальник, а просто рабочий, воспитательница детского сада, учитель, врач, и т. д. Но он делает свое дело искренне, профессионально, азартно, заинтересованно. Это и есть настоящее геройство в наше время – быть преданным своему делу, увлеченным им. Думаю, что герой нашего времени верит в будущее своей страны и, конечно же, принимает близко к сердцу беды других, незнакомых ему людей. Эти качества простого человека позволяют пока ещё существовать нашему российскому обществу. А это ли не признак мужества и героизма – оставаться человеком, несмотря ни на какие трудности? Можно ли мне и таким, как я, стать героями нашего времени? Думаю, да. Если мы поймем, что жизнь у нас только одна и прожить ее надо так, чтобы нами гордились наши родители, дети, внуки и правнуки, тогда вся страна станет героической, какой она была во время Великой Отечественной войны.
