The
GMS
States
agree
that
it
is
important
to
follow
practical
procedures
for
issuing
import
and/or
export
authorizations
that
are
consistent
with
international,
national
and
administrative
frameworks.
3.1.6 In
each
instance
where
a
sample
is
provided
to
the
designated
laboratories,
the
form
annexed
to
this
SOP,
and
marked
‘Annexure
I’,
must
be
duly
completed
by
the
competent
authority
and
delivered
with
the
sample.
3.1.7 However,
in
order
to
expedite
the
approval
process
and
reduce
costs,
national
authorities
agree
to
consider
giving
priority
to
the
processing
of
import
and/or
export
authorizations,
as
well
as
customs
clearance,
for
samples
intended
for
the
designated
laboratories.
