Some instructors refer to the “finger gun,” but making light of the technique
ignores its utility and safety.
Be careful when you are around the uninformed. I once had to take fire-
arms to a professional photographer. This individual isn’t a gun person. In
fact, most gun persons aren’t really familiar with the four rules. I had the
opportunity, the day before writing this chapter, to have this photographer
point a Kel-Tec P32 auto at me. finger on the trigger, as he explained a point.
I know. it wasjust a .32 :auto--but none of us wants to get shot, not even
with a small caliber handgun.
