This study was conducted on 1 December 2019, aiming to find mangrove vegetation in Mandeh area, Nyalo River, south Coast-West Sumatera. Observation is done by quadratic methods as well as measuring environmental parameters as supporting data. The vegetation analysis includes density, relative density, frequency of type, relative frequency, type dominancy, relative dominance, and index of important values. Found 5 types of mangrove namely Rizhopora Apiculata, Ceriops tagal, Aegiceras corniculata, and Rizhopora stylosa. The type of mangrove Rhizophora apiculata is found in all observation stations and has the highest INP value in all categories, both in the category of trees and Semai. The high INP reflects the state of mangrove vegetation at the site of the research in good condition and has not changed much. The environmental parameters at each station indicate the appropriate value for mangrove growth. ...
