Many jobs will have an email address listed on them. Sometimes this email address is meant for general questions, while other times candidates are expected to apply to the job using the email address provided. The purpose of this task is to identify which jobs can be applied to by sending an email the recruiter or hiring manager.
Steps
Search for the email address. Sometimes it will be directly in the job description. Other times it may be off to the side or even hidden in a module with contact information. If the provided screenshot does not load within CrowdFlower, use the original job link to complete the task.
If you can not find the email address, choose "I can not find an email address for this job" as your answer.
If you can find the email address, read the instructions for how to apply (likely near the end of the job description).
If the instructions clearly instruct you to apply by sending an email, determine if you just need to send an email with your resume/CV. If you are required to provide more information to complete your application, choose "Yes, I can apply by emailing my resume plus some additional information."
If the job does not instruct you to apply by sending an email and there is a button to apply, choose "No, I can not apply to this job by email."
If the instructions for how apply are not clear and you're not sure, choose "I'm not sure."
Rules & Tips
Some jobs may have multiple ways to apply. As long as sending an email to the recruiter is one of the options available, then choose one of the answers stating that you can apply by email.
If a job is expired, or you have an issue with viewing the job, choose "I'm not sure" as your answer. If the provided screenshot does not load, check the original job link first before giving up.
