من جانبه قال مدير بلدية البيرة زياد الطويل إن هناك تطور في عمل البلدية، ولا قضايا فساد أو شكاوي بحقها، وذلك لعدة أسباب، ذكرها الطويل، وهي: الحماية الداخلية والإجراءات المتfumة، وتطبيق القوانين والانظمة في إجراءاتها المختلفة، وأي اشكاليات يتم تصويبها من قبل الجهات المختصة ذات العلاقة. وأوضح الطويل بأن البلدية تنشر كل ما يتعلق بها من مشاريع وأنشطة على موقعها الالكتروني وصفحتها على "فيس بوك". وأشاد جبارين بعمل بلدية البيرة، واعتبرها من البلديات النموذجية، وطالب البلديات بأن تحذو حذوها.
