Ngày nay, do tỷ lệ tử vong ở mẹ và trẻ sơ sinh còn cao vì vậy chăm sóc sức khỏe cho bà mẹ và trẻ em ở việt nam vẫn cần được cải thiện bằng một số cách như: truyền thông cho cộng đồng cung cấp kiến thức kỹ năng và nâng cao chất lượng dịch vụ y tế.
Tôi đồng ý với quan điểm‘mang thai và sinh con không phải là trách nhiệm của những người mẹ’’ bởi vì:
Thứ nhất, người chồng và gia đình là người trưc tiếp chăm sóc bà mẹ vì vậy họ cần quan tâm, hỗ trợ người mẹ trong việc chăm sóc sức khỏe bà mẹ và trẻ sơ sinh, cũng như tránh các áp lực tâm lý và bất bình đẳng giới .
Thứ hai, cộng đồng và xã hội nên giúp đỡ, hướng dẫn các bà mẹ và gia đình trong việc tiếp cận với các dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe có chất lượng, cũng như cung cấp kiến thức về việc mang thai, sinh con và tiêm phòng.
Nhờ có sự phối hợp giữa gia đình và xã hội , sức khỏe và chất lượng cuộc sống của bà mẹ và trẻ sơ sinh sẽ ngày càng được cải thiện , từ đó tỷ lệ tỷ vong , bệnh tật ở mẹ và trẻ sơ sinh sẽ giảm đi đáng kể.
