หลายคนอาจมีเหตุผลในการรักแม่ต่างกัน

หลายคนอาจมีเหตุผลในการรักแม่ต่างกัน แต่สำหรับผู้เขียนแล้ว

รักแม่เพราะแม่สอนให้เรารู้จักรักคนอื่น แม่สอนให้เราเสียสละ

แม่สอนเราว่างานน่ะถึงเหนื่อยแค่ไหนก็ทำไปเถอะ ไม่ต้องเสียดายแรง

เพราะแรงไม่มีวันหมด แค่พักเดี๋ยวแรงก็กลับมาใหม่

แม่สอนว่าเงินต้องรู้จักใช้ ต้องรู้จักเก็บ และก็ต้องรู้จักแบ่งปันให้คนอื่น

แม่สอนว่าให้เคารพคนที่ความดี ไม่ใช่ที่เงิน

ทำให้เราคิดว่าต่อให้เป็นนายกรัฐมนตรีถ้าคดโกงเราจะไม่มีวันยกมือไหว้

แต่สำหรับภารโรงหรือแม่ค้าทุเรียนในตลาด แม่สอนให้เรายกมือไหว้ได้อย่างไม่ตะขิดตะขวงใจ

แม่สอนเราให้เห็นจากการกระทำของแม่ว่าเป็นลูกต้องกตัญญู ดูแลเอาใจใส่บุพการีอย่างดีที่สุด

แม่สอนให้เรารักชาติ ไม่คิดที่จะทุจริต คดโกง เพราะกรรมตามทัน

แม่สอนให้รักทุกชีวิตบนโลก ไม่เบียดเบียนใคร เพราะใครๆก็รักชีวิตเหมือนกับเรา

และเราก็ถามแม่ว่าใครสอนแม่ แม่ตอบว่า"มันอยู่ที่สำนึก"

แค่อยากฝากไว้ให้กับทั้งคนที่เป็นแม่ คนที่เป็นลูก และคนที่กำลังจะเป็นแม่ในอนาคตว่าทำอย่างไรถึงจะให้ลูกรัก ;-)
