As understood, there is a long pending payment issue by Mumtalakat to some Supplier(s), which has kept the upgrading works on hold for quite long time, exposing all of us under the threat of (God forbid), a potential fire hazard and penalization by the authorities. We wonder why no action had been taken by anyone for such a long period. Kindly expedite this ASAP and handover the site for upgrading works.We also wonder as to why and how Mumtalakat had been making full claim every month, at time when there was no service delivery at a Project on certain crucial items. Vide Section 2 / Article 6 (Adjustment of Fee) of the prevailing SLA, Mumtalakat should had notified Akaria about these changes in service and consequent decrease in costs should had been effected on the monthly invoices – unfortunately, this hasn’t happened.RegardsJaleel Mohamed
