Alat evaluasi Mata Kuliah Belajar Pembelajaran sosiologi menggunakan Tes tertulis baik UTS maupun UAS. Selain itu menggunakan Presentasi Proyek Belajar yang terdiri dari dokumen tertulis berupa portofolio kelompok dan presentasi kelompok. Masing-masing kelompok yang telah memilih masalah yang akan dipecahkan dalam kelompoknya, hendaknya memilih bahan-bahan dan dikumpulkan sesuai dengan tugas kelompoknya. Dokumentasi portofolio terdiri dari
a. Pendokumentasian informasi tentang masalah yang dikaji yang didapat dari (1)
perpustakaan (baik perpustakaan perguruan tinggi, perpustakaan daerah) dan
memiliki koleksi jurnal, surat kabar dan publikasi lain; (2) penerbit surat kabar; (3)
biro klipping; (4) professor dan pakar di Perguruan Tinggi; (5) Kepolisian; (6)
organisasi masyarakat; (7) kantor legislatif dan Pemerintah Daerah; (8) Lembaga
Swadaya Masyarakat; (9) Jaringan Informasi Elektronik sesuai dengan format
Dokumentasi Informasi.
b. Bahan-bahan yang telah dikumpulkan merupakan pembuktian penelitian yang telah
dilakukan dan dimasukkan pada sebuah map (binder) serta gunakan warna yang
berbeda untuk memisahkan keempat bagian portofolio (Kelompok Portofolio 1:
Menjelaskan masalah; meliputi alasan mengapa masalah yang dipecahkan sangat
penting; Kelompok Portofolio 2: menilai kebijakan alternatif yang disarankan
