กลุ่มประเทศใน ASEAN มีการส่งออกสินค้ายางพาราไปยัง BRICS ร้อยละ 92 ของการนำเข้า-ส่งออกสินค้ายางพาราทั้งหมดของ ASEAN และนำเข้ามาเพียงร้อยละ 8 แต่ทั้งนี้ทั้งการนำเข้าและส่งออกก็ยังมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่องจากปี 2552 ถึงปี 2554 ซึ่งในปี 2554 สินค้าที่ASEANส่งออกไปเป็นสินค้าในขั้นกลางน้ำ ร้อยละ 92 ของการส่งออกสินค้ายางพาราทั้งหมด ซึ่งสินค้าส่งออกที่สำคัญคือ ยางแท่ง(ทีเอสเอ็นอาร์) 59.11 %, ยางคอมพาวนด์ 21.79 %และยางแผ่นรมควัน 8.76 % ตามลำดับ ในขั้นปลายน้ำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 8 ของการส่งออกสินค้ายางพาราทั้งหมด ซึ่งสินค้าส่งออกที่สำคัญของกลุ่มนี้คือยางยานพาหนะ 30.73 % เมื่อเปรียบเทียบสัดส่วนการส่งออกสินค้ายางพาราของ
