Recently, I am assigned to track and look after the progress of electronic room and control room, in the control building. I have found that they are not ready yet and the progress of work is not that much as expected.
It is very important that the work must finish before DCS engineer come otherwise it will be difficult to work.
I would like to propose a temporary solution to this problem o that DCS engineer can work and we don't have to wait for the control room to complete anymore.
1. Provision of desks and chairs temporary in engineering room for DCS engineer for working.
2. Provision of facilities such as stand fan to vent the heat inside the Electronic room and engineering room, or if possible Air condition which will be very good.
3. Provision of Plastic sheets for floors to reduce dust in the Engineering room.
4. Provision of plastic for all Control panel to prevent dust in the Electronic room.
5. Install temporary Door in Electronic room and Engineering room to protect the equipment and tools missing.
6. Provision of Temporary power supply cables for use in the Engineering room for Computer and printer only and power will come from Emerson Distribution panel.
7. Provision of Temporary Network cables in the Engineering room for Computer and printer only which will be connected in Emerson Network panel.
8. Arrangement of temporary AC sources for Emerson Distribution panel.
After that we are can start for loop testing and function testing. In the meantime construction team must complete the floor in the control room. Once the Control room is ready we can shift there.
