Paul Signac
Paul Signac (1863-1935) has helped shape his time not only as a painter but also as an art theorist of Neo-Impressionism. An encounter with Seurat in 1884 convinced him of the pointillist style of painting, which he henceforth justified scientifically and physiologically perception in his writings.
