Analysis of marketed formulation
Preparation of sample solution:
A tablet marketed formulation, Asthalin-2 (Cipla Ltd.) was taken for analysis. Tablet powder equivalent to 100 mg was weighed accurately and transferred into 100 ml volumetric, to this 70 ml of distilled water was added and the volumetric flask was vigorously shaken for about 20 minutes. Finally the volume was made up to the mark with distilled water to get 1000μg/ml concentration (Stock Solution A). The above solution was carefully filtered through Whatman filter paper (No. 41). From this solution 10 ml was pipetted into a 100 ml volumetric flask and made up to the mark with distilled water to obtain 100 μg/ml, (Stock Solution B)
Recovery experiments
From Stock solution B, 2 ml was pipetted out into a 10 ml volumetric flask. Then 0.8 ml of 2N FCR solution and 6 ml of distilled water was added. The volumetric flask was shaken well for at least 5 min followed by addition of 1.5 ml of 1N NaOH solution. The volume was made up to the mark and stored for 15 min in the dark. The absorbance was read at 723 nm against the reagent blank. The result was recorded in table 5.

Persiapan larutan sampel:
Formulasi tablet dipasarkan, Asthalin-2 (Cipla Ltd) diambil untuk analisis. Bubuk tablet setara dengan 100 mg ditimbang akurat dan dipindahkan ke 100 ml volumetrik, untuk ini 70 ml air suling ditambahkan dan labu ukur sangat bersemangat dikocok selama sekitar 20 menit. Akhirnya volume dibuat sampai tanda dengan air suling untuk mendapatkan 1000μg / ml konsentrasi (Stock Solution A). Solusi di atas dengan hati-hati disaring melalui kertas saring Whatman (No. 41). Dari solusi ini 10 ml dipipet ke dalam 100 ml labu ukur dan dibuat sampai tanda dengan air suling untuk mendapatkan 100 mg / ml, (Stock Solusi B)
eksperimen Pemulihan
dari solusi Stock B, 2 ml dipipet keluar menjadi 10 ml labu ukur. Kemudian 0,8 ml larutan 2N FCR dan 6 ml air suling ditambahkan. Labu volumetrik dikocok dengan baik selama sedikitnya 5 menit diikuti dengan penambahan 1,5 ml larutan 1N NaOH. Volume dibuat sampai tanda dan disimpan selama 15 menit dalam gelap. Absorbansi dibaca pada 723 nm terhadap reagen kosong. Hasilnya tercatat pada tabel 5.
