Die älteste bekannte großplastische Bronzestatue eines "Kuros", eines Jünglings der griechisch-archaischen Kunst. Mit seinem edlen schlanken Wuchs und der athletisch geballten Kraft seiner Muskulatur verkörpert er das betont sportliche dorische Ideal. Die Linke umfasste einen Bogen, die Rechte trug vermutlich eine Phiale für das Trankopfer.
