أكدت دولة الكويت حرصها على دعم كل الخطط الانمائية لتيسير تنفيذ أهداف التنمية المستدامة الـ 17 وخلق شراكة عالمية جديدة تعزز التعاون بين الأمم المتحدة وجميع الشركاء المعنيين في التنمية.
جاء ذلك في بيان دولة الكويت الذي ألقته الباحثة السياسية هبة صباح الناصر الصباح أمام اللجنة الثانية من الدورة الـ 71 للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة مساء أمس الثلاثاء أثناء مناقشة البند المتعلق بالتنمية المستدامة.

وقالت الصباح أن «حرص دولة الكويت على تنفيذ كافة الخطط الانمائية يأتي انسجاماً مع اهتمامها بالشراكة العالمية في المساهمة بمساعدة الدول المتعثرة لبلوغ الأهداف الانمائية المستدامة بحلول عام 2030».

وأكدت التزام دولة الكويت بوصفها إحدى الدول المشاركة في صياغة جدول أعمال التنمية المستدامة لعام 2030 في العمل على تطبيق الأهداف الانمائية المستدامة على المستوى الوطني.

وأشارت إلى حرص دولة الكويت أيضاً على ترجمة الخطة العالمية في اطار خطط وطنية انمائية ترتكز على ثلاثة اتجاهات اساسية هي التنمية البشرية المجتمعية والتنمية الاقتصادية والتنمية البيئية.

وذكرت الصباح أن دولة الكويت تهدف من خلال التزامها بتنفيذ خطط التنمية إلى معالجة أوجه القصور الانمائية والحفاظ على المكاسب المحققة في اطار الأهداف الانمائية للألفية.

وأضافت أن «تحقيق التنمية المستدامة بمختلف أبعادها يتطلب أيضاً توفير الأجواء المناسبة وفي مقدمتها قضية تغير المناخ كونها أبرز تحديات العصر الحالي التي تتطلب اتخاذ قرارات جريئة ومشتركة لتخفيف الانبعاثات التي تضر بالبيئة بشكل مستدام ومرن».

واعتبرت الصباح مسار دولة الكويت الانمائي «مشرفاً ومتميزاً» إذ لم تدخر الدولة جهداً في مساعيها الرامية إلى تنويع مصادر الطاقة وتحسين كفاءتها والاهتمام بالطاقة المتجددة والانتقال إلى نظام اقتصادي منخفض الانبعاثات.

وبينت أن اهتمام دولة الكويت بتنويع مصادر الطاقة يأتي تنفيذاً لرؤية سمو أمير البلاد الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح التي تهدف إلى تنويع مصادر الطاقة والتحول الى الطاقة المتجددة بما يسهم في توفير نسبة 15 في المئة من احتياجات الدولة للطاقة من مصادر الطاقة المتجددة بحلول 2030.

ولفتت الصباح إلى قيام دولة الكويت بوضع خارطة طريق للبدء بتوفير الطاقة الشمسية وتنفيذ عدة مشاريع استراتيجية لخلق بيئة مناسبة لتعزيز الحلول المتعلقة بمكافحة التصحر والتقليل من آثار تلك الظاهرة.

وشددت على ضرورة العمل المشترك لوضع أسس وترتيبات تضمن القدرة على مواجهة الظروف والتحديات الصعبة التي تقوض قدرات الدول النامية لا سيما تلك التي تواجه أوضاعاً خاصة.
