Mistakes help us learn the existing theory of life between good and bad. Sometimes, a mistake may seem too good to approach it or it may be too dreadful to even dream about in your wildest dreams. The theory above is exclusively mine, which I learned from a big mistake that was related to the field of education. This is the only phase in human life, where we fall to the pressures and rise above them learning what is the best for us.
As I completed my sophomore year in Biology, it was an apparent choice to become a doctor or some health professional. As I didn't concentrate much on the entrance test, I failed miserably and was kicked out, saying that I was never meant to wear a “doctor’s apron” nor handle a “surgeon's knife.” As a result, all my career choices came to a halt.
Then after six months, I tried my luck in getting a bachelors in business administration. Although I had some initial hiccups in the application process, I got through them and enrolled. First day of the course was all surreal and full of hope. As days went by, the subjects helped me realize that I do not enjoy finance or anything related to math. I was afraid that I would flunk all the courses and never make it to the end. I was apprehensive to tell this to my parents, as it would tear them apart, but they knew what was going on. So they asked how I was doing at the university and came to know, how i was flunking classes, skipping exams, and all the weird facts about me.
Finally, my parents told me not to constrain myself in doing something that doesn't work and told me to instead find something, which I love and will enjoy doing the rest of my life. Thus, I was lead to the field of Biotechnology, where everything was smooth. It made me feel great to slide on the glasses of microscopic microbes. Thus, this has become a genuine forte of mine, which was buried deep under and made me finally realize that the study of deadly microscopic organisms could alter the life’s patterns, and would even deteriorate people’s health.
So, I would like to end by saying that irrespective of how many mistakes you make or how many failures you cross, the success and happiness you gain through it is fantastic and better than anything.
