2.เพื่ออนุรักษ์และสืบสานวัฒธรรมประเพณีการแห่เทียนของอุบลราชธานีเอาไว้ให้คงอยู่สืบทอดสู่รุ่นต่อๆไปและเพื่อเผยแพร่วัฒนธรรมอันดีงามให้คนทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศได้รับรู้และชื่นชมประเพณีที่ดีงามของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี
3.เพื่อสำรวจความคิดเห็นของในแต่ละบุคคลว่ามีข้อเสนอแนะติชมอย่างไรบ้างเพื่อที่จะได้พัฒนาให้ดียิ่งๆขึ้นไปเพื่อให้เป็นการรักษาและอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมการแห่เทียนไปในตัวอีกด้วย
