We are therefore faced with six focusing questions:
(1) What is green? And is the consumer interested?
(2) The foods that we eat, fish, beef or vegetables, for example, do they have intrinsically different impacts on the environment?
(3) Do different systems of primary food production have different effects on the environment?
(4) How does the transport of food effect the environment?
(5) What is the real impact of different approaches to processing and waste and how does this put consumption into context?
(6) What is the impact of cost?
