CV QC Sampling
Obtaining a representative sample with a reasonable Confidence interval on an agent basis requires very high sample rates. To achieve a +/-5% CI at 95% conference level on a typical agent case load of 700 case would require sampling ~250 cases per agent month. This is unachievable with current QC staff of 4, particularly as QC will be extended to cover CS and OB BR.
Either the business will have to staff up resources, or sampling will need to be focused on higher risk calls / agents.
Below is an estimation of a sampling strategy that would cover approximately 45 cases/month for tenured agents and 75 cases a month for higher risk new / watch list agents.
Such sampling will not achieve +/-5% CI at 95% CL per agent on a monthly basis but it will be highly representative for the overall service & Agents results can be averaged over rolling three months to achieve better CI&CL for any incentive scheme.
Note below model implies about 125 calls or 188 policies QC’d per day ~38 calls per QC agent day at 18 working days. We need to confirm if this is achievable with new QC form + requirements for CS and OB BR.
