По данным Нацстаткомитета за период с 2004 по 2006 гг. число обращений в кризисные центры, суды аксакалов и другие специализированные службы по проблемам домашнего насилия выросло в 3 раза и пострадавшими в основном являются женщины.

В кризисные центры в 2004 году обратилось 9922 женщин, в 2005 - 8719 и в 2006 году -10404, около 60% из них это жертвы семейного насилия. Свыше 80% женщин, попавших в отделение травматологии городской больницы г. Оша составляют те, которые перенесли изнасилование, или получили травму в результате семейного насилия.
