องค์ประกอบของ SWOT
องค์ประกอบของ SWOT มีทั้งหมด 4 อย่างด้วยกัน ซึ่งเป็นที่มาของชื่อ SWOT นั่นเอง ซึ่งเป็นการนำตัวอักษรหน้าในภาษาอังกฤษของหลักการทั้งหมด 4 อย่างมารวมกัน เพื่อความสะดวกสบายและง่ายในการจดจำนั่นเอง ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย
1. จุดแข็ง (Strength) คือ ความสามารถและสถานการณ์ที่ดีภายในองค์กร
2. จุดอ่อน (Weakness) คือ ความสามารถและสถานการณ์ที่เป็นข้อด้อยขององค์กร ซึ่งต้องได้รับการแก้ไข
3. โอกาส (Opportunity) คือ หนทางที่ทำให้องค์กรประสบความสำเร็จ
4. อุปสรรค (Threat) คือ ปัจจัยที่ขัดขวางการทำงานขององค์กร
