Coming to a few highlights on Commercials – veggies formalised new distribution & setup a structure for growth in Pakistan. We finalized our Bt insect resistance monitoring (IRM) program with our team conducting a record 3,144 screenings of Helicoverpa punctigera for Cry2Ab & Vip3A resistant alleles (two of the genes used in soon-to-be-launched Bollgard® 3) & found that resistance declined this year. This is testament to our effective & robust cotton IRM program in Australia & the data generated will be instrumental in supporting our desired commercial approvals for Bollgard® 3. And Dekalb Connect, our region’s corn farmer Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system on Salesforce.com to enable us to gather POG data more quickly, better manage demand generation, & gain superior customer & channel insight, will be piloted in East Java, Indonesia, in August. This will be extended this CRM system to the rest of the countries in Asia Pacific at a later stage. Our continued focus on fundamentals is building on our foundation.
