Learning to read literary puppet story of Ramayana in junior Rembang turned into learning to listen. Students do not understand the reading material provided in textbooks and worksheets. The reason, the reading text using the Java language archaic. This causes the students' interest in reading the text of the Java-language reading is low. One effort to increase students' interest in reading by providing books enrichment Ramayana wayang stories interesting and fit the needs of students. Students need books enrichment Javanese wayang Ramayana dialect Apex and inserted illustrations interesting story. This study uses a Research and Development (R & D) conducted through five stages, namely (1) the analysis of the potential and problems, (2) data collection needs of students and teachers, (3) the design of the product, (4) test expert / design validation products, and (5) a revision of product design. Results of this study, namely, (1) the book enrichment wayang Ramayana actually required of students and teachers in junior Rembang as supporting material to read literature, (2) books enrichment puppet story Ramayana using the Java language dialect Rembang variety ngoko Alus according to the needs of students and teacher, and (3) the results of the validation test enrichment puppet story Ramayana book value of 88.63% gain very viable category of materials experts from experts while developing the book obtained a value of 80% with a decent category. Based on expert advice, books enrichment puppet story Ramayana titled "Bledheg Alas Dhandhaka" and consists of five play / title of the story is "Miyose Son Queen", "Numpes Raseksa", "Rama Tundhung", "Sprott Kadhusta", and "Anoman Ambassador" , Suggestions are recommended: (1) for junior high school teachers in Rembang, is expected to utilize books enrichment puppet story Ramayana as an alternative learning materials, creatively selecting and making reading materials that can enhance the reading interests of students, (2) for other researchers are expected to do research continued to test the feasibility and effectiveness of the books enrichment puppet story Ramayana produced this study, (3) after having tested the feasibility and effectiveness, it is hoped governments can cooperate to facilitate book enrichment puppet story of Ramayana to be mass produced as reading material of students, and (4) books enrichment story Ramayana puppet can be used as a support language learning Java junior outside Rembang.
