มัสยิดแห่งนี้นับได้ว่าเป็นมัสยิดที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ โดยถูกสร้างขึ้นเมื่อปี 1975 ณ มัสยิดแห่งนี้มีห้องสวดมนต์รูปโดมอยู่ด้านบน และสามารถรองรับผู้คนที่เข้ามาได้ถึง 120,000 คน ซึ่งมีการตกแต่งแบบอนุรักษ์นิยม ภายในห้องสวดมนต์ทรงโดมขนาดยักษ์นั้นมีเสาขนาดใหญ่ถึง 12 ต้นเป็นเสมือนฐานรองรับน้ำหนักของมัน มีประตูทางเข้า 7 ทาง มีน้ำพุตั้งอยู่ที่ชั้นใต้ดิน มีห้องสวดมนต์หลักอีกห้องและลานขนาดใหญ่ ตั้งอยู่บริเวณชั้นหนึ่ง
