Napf- und Rückseite werden von Hyäenenhunden flankiert, welche die vier Eckpfosten der Welt symbolisieren; der Schminknapf selbst verkörpert die Sonnenscheibe, die von einem Löwen und einem Schlangenhalspanther umgeben wird. Als zentrales Motiv der Rückseite werden zwei Giraffen gezeigt, die ihre Hälse am Stamm einer Palme emporrecken.
