Tổ chức Hòa bình xanh (tên tiếng Anh: Greenpeace) được thành lập ở Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada năm 1971. Tổ chức này nổi tiếng nhất vì những chiến dịch chống lại việc săn bắt cá voi. Trong những năm gần đây, mục tiêu trọng tâm của tổ chức này là chuyển qua các vấn đề môi trường khác, bao gồm lưới cào đáy, sự nóng lên toàn cầu, nạn phá rừng nguyên sinh, năng lượng hạt nhân, và công nghệ gene. The Green peace organization (English name: Greenpeace) was founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1971. This organization best known for the campaign against whaling. In recent years, the focus of the organization is moved through the other environmental issues, including net scraping the bottom, global warming, deforestation, nuclear energy, and gene technology. Greenpeace has national and regional offices in 42 countries around the world, all of which are branches of Greenpeace International in Amsterdam. This organization received financial backing from the nearly 3 million accounts, as well as other donations come from charity, but does not accept funds from the Government or businesses.
